In spite of the rain we spent a wonderful day working with Charlene and Duane who traveled all the way from Australia to elope in NYC. We always tell our couples not to worry too much about the weather, especially on elopements where so many things can be rearranged and as photographers we have some flexibility to adapt to any circumstances. Also rainy or snowy days can make really special shots! For one, the City Hall is usually quiet on bad weather days. Also, we can shoot at very popular outdoor locations such as the amazing Highline Park with the convenience of being really empty and giving us the chance to work on great shots!
