My name is Leila Jacue and I am a wedding photojournalist. I studied photography in college and have always been interested in capturing truthful moments in people's lives. I worked in wedding and elopement photography for a company in Europe and then moved to New York City. Here I started my own business, L&L Style Photo, together with my partner and husband David Leon, an art director with a Fine Arts degree and a strong sense for design, styling and location scouting. As a team we don’t simply document your wedding, we want to go one step beyond, fully expressing the remarkable moments that they are, and taking memorable and timeless pictures.

Your pictures should be a celebration of love

I want to make sure we all have an awesome time while I am taking the pictures. Spending some time with a couple doing what they love most, something that can be a simple as going for a walk in the city or the countryside, it’s something I am proud to enjoy so much in my work. All my career as photographer has led me to a point from where I can see that the most memorable shots are the ones that reflect people as they are, relaxed, being together, being in love, having fun. I believe that having your pictures made is a celebration by itself, a celebration of that love and no matter how big or small, traditional is the event you have planned, the bottom line is that you are celebrating your love, and David and I would love to help you bring that out in the pictures.
